For Spring/Summer 2027, Christian Cowan draws inspiration from the edge of Old Hollywood, examining a revival of glamour with a contemporary twist: undone, rough, and distressed textures that exist beyond the picture-perfect image of Old Hollywood Glamour.

Inspired in part by Marilyn Monroe and the complicated relationship between celebrity, the media, and the public, the collection explores the woman as both a private individual and a constructed character.

Backstage, the tension between imperfection and glamour becomes especially visible as models transform into Cowan’s siren-like, thoughtfully subversive characters. Styled in glossy yet deliberately imperfect hair and dramatic beauty looks that disrupt Old Hollywood's polished fantasy.
