Vacation wear has long been a tricky category to perfect in fashion. Too often, it falls victim to fleeting trends or designs that look better on a runway with little practicality in real life. SLOAN’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection offers a refreshing correction, proving that travel-inspired clothing can be both elevated and deeply wearable. Each look feels crafted with intention, balancing form, comfort, and style in a way that reflects not only the designer Julia Sloan’s vision, but also a clear understanding of what people genuinely want to wear. The pieces are timeless yet versatile–meant to be reworn, restyled, and lived in.

Throughout the collection, the garments drape effortlessly, highlighting the body’s natural lines while allowing for a sense of ease and freedom. SLOAN leans into a grounded, earth-toned palette that feels organic, with each shade pulled from the natural world. The sea-glass blues, mossy greens, sandy neutrals, and clay reds root this collection in the earth, sea, and sky.

SLOAN’s attention to detail did not end with her earth-inspired palette; it carries seamlessly into fabric and form. Each hue instinctively pairs with its textile, as if the garments have always been meant to exist this way. Sea-glass blues find their partner in fluid crepes while mossy and forest greens ground themselves in more structured tailoring. The fabrics were sourced from Mexico City and Greece with breathable cottons, woven wools, delicate embroideries, and leathers.

While the foundation of the collection rests in minimalist staples designed to endure, SLOAN makes sure to infuse them with her unique style and perspective. Hardware, seashells, beads, sashes, straps, and ties add details of intimacy and rhythm into the silhouettes. The range of styles moves from tailored suits that strike a divine balance between femininity and a quiet masculine edge to sheer gowns that float with freedom and confidence. In every garment, SLOAN’s vision becomes clear: this is a collection where nature’s palette, artisanal craft, and timeless design come together to create pieces destined to have a life of their own, shaped by the wearer.

This collection isn’t simply selling clothes—it’s selling a lifestyle. SLOAN’s woman is instantly recognizable—she’s constantly traveling between Montauk and the Upper East Side. She’s adventurous and free-spirited, curating a closet complete with pieces collected from all corners of the world.

She’s a coastal romantic who craves gardens, salt air, and sunlight. Free, jazzy, breezy, and effortless–this imagined lifestyle becomes this collection's backdrop. And while the pieces collectively evoke vacation wear and a coastal essence, their versatility is undeniable. Each look can be restyled, reimagined, and transformed to suit any setting, carrying the spirit of ease and sophistication that defines SLOAN’s vision.
