In the Heights with Buchanan’s and Rauw Alejandro’s FIFA World Cup Countdown

Rauw gets in the fútbol spirit in “Dando Vueltas.”

Along the Hudson River in Washington Heights, over 200 lovers of soccer, fruity drinks, and Rauw Alejandro gathered for a night of surprises and hours of dancing. With less than 50 days until the FIFA World Cup, Buchanan’s Whisky and Rauw Alejandro kicked off the worldwide event with the premiere of his newest track and video, “Dando Vueltas.”

In addition to Buchanita drinks, guests enjoyed a mini soccer field, a 27-foot Buchamión with exclusive merch, and a fútbol photo backdrop to capture the memories. The space was also graced by New York City icons, like Toñita, Planta Industrial, Dascha Polanco, Flavio and Flavio, Viviane de Castro, Maria Beltre, Nino Segarra, Sare E. Gonzalez, DJ Flipstar, and more.

We can’t forget to mention the surprise Rauw Alejandro appearance, where he made a toast to the “Dando Vueltas” premiere and signed merch for passionate fans. “If life were more like football, borders wouldn’t matter, every language would connect us, and we would all celebrate together,” Rauw says at the end of the video.

DJ Hector and Nino Segarra (Dimelo Nino) kept guests dancing all night with old-school and new-school reggaeton sounds. Just a few minutes down Dyckman, we took the afterparty to Republica, where DJ Fux closed out the night, and Buchanan’s bottle service stayed flowing.
